One of our clients’, with its headquarters in Maragua, is seeking to fill the “ADMIN/FINANCE – POST”
The company is primarily involved in Custom Furniture Design and Manufacture, and its passion for delivering quality service to its clients is apparent in the work that they do.
Salary Scale Kshs 60,000 to Kshs. 70,000
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
The Company’s Admin/Finance Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and direct supervision of the WorkShop personnel including the Carpenters, Finishers, Joiners, Cleaners, Designers, Supervisors and the Company’s financial records.

● Develops plans that achieve long-term objectives and are responsive to changes in organisational demands and environment

● Planning and organisational skills

● Evaluates information and options
● Identifies potential impact of decisions on other parts of the organisation

● Creates an environment that fosters growth, development and innovation
● Evaluates team and individual strengths and weaknesses

d) Relationship Management
● Establishes and maintains effective relationships
● Responds quickly, accurately, and pleasantly

e) Verbal and Written Communication
● Communicates verbal and written ideas effectively to individuals and different audiences
● Establishes the benefits of the information or recommendation to the individual / audience
● Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills



f) Technical Knowledge
● Has high level of technical knowledge related to the job
● Excellent analytical skills
● Computer proficiency in the standard packages (word processing, e-mail and internet use)
Qualifications/Requirements
● Minimum 3 years of experience working within a workshop, manufacturing, construction company, or similar work environment
● Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Admin/Finance
● Professional accountancy qualifications i.e., CPA or ACCA
● Over 2 years experience in a leadership role
● Must be fully bilingual in English and Kiswahili
● Exhibits working knowledge of health and safety requirements
● Computer skills and familiarity with an accounting software is essential
● Those with professional training in Administration and Human Resource Management will have an added advantage
