Quality Assurance Assistant , Winnie’s Pure Health Products Ltd.

Role Purpose:
The Quality Assurance Assistant is responsible for ensuring that Quality procedures and standards are adhered to throughout the process stages. He/She is to implement and enforce Food Safety and HACCP standards as per the set ISO standards.

Responsibilities (Functions and duties):
Conducting periodic quality checks to ensure standards are maintained
To ensure that raw materials distribution, loading and off-loading are processed to the company procedures, production standard and agreed internal service levels
Assessing and monitoring the quality of the finished products before dispatch
Oversee and direct preparation of raw/packaging material before dispatching to production
Inspecting of all material used directly or indirectly in the manufacture of company products to ensure they comply with the set company
Composing, monitoring and testing the processing of various inputs to ensure the finished products comply with the set standards
Developing company specifications for both raw material and finished products and ensuring implementation of the
Carrying out and also monitoring on line quality tests and advising the relevant personnel on correction or corrective measures on areas where the processes are found to be none
Developing operating procedures, pre requisite programs and work instructions in line to the
Developing, implementing and maintaining cleaning programs and procedures in the production
Any other duties not necessarily mentioned which are in line with the position of a Quality Assurance Assistant

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; in addition to planning, presentation, interpersonal, coordinating and organizational skills
Keen analytical skills with attention to detail; with the ability to be adaptable and flexible
Assertive, proactive and results’ oriented


Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in the Manufacturing industry preferably Food Sector.

Education and specialist Knowledge Required:
Degree in Food Science or relevant qualification
Knowledge of ISO Standards – Food Safety Systems, & Quality Management Systems
Knowledge on organic foods is an added advantage
